After considerable research and development, the new Draminski iScan goggles are finally available. Our students put them through their paces at our bovine ultrasound training course earlier this month.

Andrew commented that the image was as clear - "if not clearer" - than on the iScan screen itself, due to it being less reflective. This allows you to focus on the job in hand.

Morne added that "you've got a loose hand as well." For some people, the presence of goggles is a clear practical and safety benefit; for others, it is preferable not to have anything in front of their eyes, keeping their field of view free. Whatever your thoughts on the matter, it is clear that the iScan goggles perform excellently, meaning that veterinarians in the UK now have either option available with the highest resolution, most robust cattle scanner available: the Draminski iScan.
