NOVEMBER CATTLE SCAN ULTRASOUND COURSE - PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
Our final cattle course of the year was held at Harper Adams University in Shropshire, featuring the BreederTec Cow Scanner. This 4-day course enabled our students to obtain DEFRA exemption, allowing them to legally perform pregnancy scans on cattle.
Our 8 students began the course with a lesson on bovine reproductive anatomy and dissection.
The remaining days are a combination of practical and classroom sessions.
All practical sessions are supervised and taught by highly experienced bovine veterinarians. Here, Dan assists Rachael in identifying a pregnancy.
