BSAA is the largest agricultural university in the Belgorod region of Russia, and was recently invited Draminski as a special guest for the 35th anniversary ceremony at the Faculity of Veterinary Medicine. The new Draminski iScan is going to be used during classes at the Department of Livestock and Breeding, and a new faculty is to be founded where veterinarians of the future will receive ultrasound training on Draminski devices.

 

Dr Inessa Yakovlev stated: "With the help of this apparatus, we can explore tendons and joints - especially in sport horses - which often suffer from diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The iScan is also suitable for studying he abdominal cavity, bladder, ovaries and pregnancy." Dr Yakovlev also praised the iScan for its ease of use, moisture and impact resistance, and reliability of the battery. "Despite its small size, this device allows you to perform a full ultrasound examination, just as you can on a large stationary unit."
